Do you or someone that you know have a picture of something that can be considered an oddity? I accept all pictures, but there are a few guidelines that even I follow when I put up a picture, or go looking for articles.
- No inflatables. Some of these are actually kind of funny, but they're portable roadside oddities. Unless of course something happens to one of these things that makes it funny. Use your judgement, I like funny stuff.
- No people. I can't even count the number of times Ive gotten pictures of people or heard people say, "Hey you should put so and so on your website, he's an oddity!" Funny at first, but this has gotten kind of old.
- No doctored photos. This speaks for itself. Send only pictures of things that exist, and in their natural state.
- Include a description! I can't stress this enough. I won't put it up on the site if I don't know what it is. Try to include the following-
- Location (City, State).
- Brief Description (Who, what, where, when, why).
- Your name, and whether or not you would like to be recognized on the site.
That all being said, if you still think your photo should be seen, go nuts! When your finished doing that though, send them to me. I accept any photo file format, any size. Send all photo's to the following Email- Mark@EccentricAmerica.net
